Vancouver Homestay Services BC


In the last few years I have worked in the ESL industry as both a certified teacher and a Host family. It was during this time that I discovered that Vancouver lacked a homestay service that specialized in services which offered ongoing support for both Host families and Students.[Mia Grammer] This ongoing support is critical in ensuring that placements are rewarding cultural exchanges that benefit all who are concerned. I also took it upon myself to survey international students to find out what they liked, what they wanted to add or change in their homestay service. Simply put, they wanted ongoing support, guaranteed English only homes, social activities, reasonable tutoring services and both a home which is in easy access to downtown Vancouver and popular tourist attractions. Thus with the help of a few close associates and careful consideration and planning, we decided to open our own homestay company.

  • We have a 24hr a day Emergency line.
  • We will only place students in English speaking homes.
  • We will work hard to ensure that all of your needs are met.
  • We will never limit the amount of placements that you require.
  • We will both host and organize social functions and budget tours.
  • We will only place our students in convenient, safe and advantageous locations.
  • We will offer reasonable, interesting and relevant tutoring services.
  • Once we have received your Student Application Form, Student Agreement and your payment, we will both match you with an appropriate host family and we will e-mail you a family history and pictures of your new home.
  • Vancouver has many ESL schools, thus as a courtesy, we will visit and answer any questions that you may have or would like to verify about your prospective school.
  • We will only place a student in a home that we would be willing to stay in ourselves.
